Its official - next Wednesday (such a damned long way away) Thomas , the long haired black and white tuxedo kitty is coming over and we have a new and welcome addition to the familly.

Carol phoned me at lunch and told me the news and I was all :censor::censor::censor::censor: a hoop (excited). Thomas is his name and apparently - hes three years old and a bundle of love. Its gonna be manic but heck - we will be complete again and have the two cats in the house which I love.

Question - Brandy - male - 8 years old and Thomas - 3 and male- any potential problems that you can see and how should they be overcome? Both have been castrated. The owner is a little worried about that fact - however, is thrilled by the possibilty of a great home for Thomas.

Strange though how things are - Black and white cat coming in - Vicki was black and white. Thomas is the name - I lost a chihauhau nigh on two years ago - his name was Thomas.
Guess things are meant to be huh - guess someone works in strange and mysterious ways up there.
Now - wednesday is tooooo many days away!

apologies again - not an "official rescue cat" - however, if we had not had him, he would have been into the rescue centre... so hes my little bundle of pre-rescued love.

Just because you're skipping a step -- the one that would be most traumatic for him -- does not mean you are not rescuing him -- heck, you're rescuing him from THAT step. Congratulations, Kev. Thomas is one lucky kitty. Pics! Pics! Pics! Pics! Pics! Pics! Pics! Pics!

Kev, the biggest key to Brandy and Thomas getting along is the introduction process. Read this article: I'd Like You To Meet... about the best way to introduce two cats, and do a search in the Behaviour Forum for more information. It can take a while, especially with two older, same sexed cats, but the results are definitely worth it!

I'm excited for you Kev!!!.

I remember when i first got Rosie, i had'nt seen her either!. All i got was a description of her over the telephone, but i said there and then, "I'm taking her"!!!.
