About four months ago we adopted a brother and sister lynx point kittens into our home. They had lived inside for most of their lives up until the guy who was caring for them put them outside (they were about 4 months at the time.) They were fed adult whiskas cat food (I'm not sure which variation as I don't buy it) and there was water left out for them both times I visited. When I brought them home I noticed right away that the girl of the pair we adopted had an extreme case of diarrhea, where as the boy's wasn't as severe, but just as concerning. I also notice she hasnt been growing as quickly, where as the boy (the runt of the litter) has grown like a weed! At first I thought it might be the drastic change of food, but its been four months and theres rarely been a change. I feed all my cats Almo Nature Wet Food, and there is always Harrington's Dry Cat food in a bowl for them. Harrington's doesn't have any added wheat, and recently I read that if you are feeding Almo Nature to your cat they need to on hard food that has grain as well, so I think I might try a different brand. Lately I've also noticed that sometimes there is more diarrhea than hard stool in the litter boxes, so I'm worried my other two cats have caught whatever she has as well. They've been to the vet, been de-wormed, and even had a stool test done, and they didn't find anything. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
