New kitten has not been to the loo

ok my new kitten Mister has not been to the litter box and done a poo. I am not even sure if he has done a wee. He has had some food and a drink this morning but thats it.  We got him yesterday. My friend seems to think he might be constipated, but  I am not sure, any advice would be good thanks

Cats can take a while to adjust to new places and can hold it while they do so. Clean the litter box at least once a day so you can tell what's going on. I wouldn't be worried yet, though.

update, he has just been a little while ago, yay!!!!, and had some food and water, life is good again...........
