Hi all. First time poster. I have 2 cats, Lillie and Aggie. Aggie is my shy one, somewhat finicky and easily scared, though she's gotten better with just me. They're both about 12 or 13 short-haired tuxedo cats.

Question - Aggie's poop had a bit of blackish blood in it the other day. I tend to be an overly concerned cat mother, so I wanted to do some research on this. I'll try to attach a pic. Thank you for any advice! I'm having trouble determining if she's just sleeping of lethargic today.

I would get her to the vet or at the least, take a stool specimen up to them.  I'm concerned that it looks loose and not like a tootsie roll.

Thank you! We are going in the morning. Her eyes are dilated tonight.

That is disconcerting, can you get her to an emergency clinic  tonight?
Second that, it sounds like she might not be doing well. Can you at least call a vet to get their thoughts? I have done that before as well when I thought something could wait, but wanted to get a professional's opinion.

Well, she's eating and drinking okay. I'm going to wait and see how her next time turns out, if you know what I mean. We have an appt with the vet at 11 tomorrow.
