Hello! Hope everyone is having a pleasant Tuesday!

How do you say the word "Tomato"?

Tomahto or Tomayto?

As for myself, Tomayto :)

I pronounce it tomayto as well but have to admit I love hearing a crisp British accent saying tomahto!

Depends on where I am. At home, "to-meh-toe" (like a cross between to-mah-toe and to-may-toe). Here, "to-may-toe". When in Rome and all that.

I'm in the mid-west... technically, to-may-toe. Realistically (and probably because I am so close to Kentucky? LOL) I say: tuh-mater, tuh-mato, or 'mater.

I say ta may do, with a "d" sound not a "t" sound and I'm from south-central Massachusetts, USA.  I also pronounce it ta, rather than toe!
I know I have said it this way since I was a child.  Anyone else from Mass say it this way?  I am close to Rhode Island.

Most of the time I do say "tomaytoe".

I said "maters" one time to my sister; thought she was going to have a heart attack. I told her I was going out to plant maters. She was not amused. So now, of course, I say it that way just to agitate.
 And so does my nephew!
