Hello, I'm Lindsey and my feline friends are Melly and JohnnyMac. Melly was originally named Malice and was left behind by her previous owner so i shortened it up. JohnnyMac goes by Johnny, or JonJon as my kids would say. Johnny is a siamese cat, my first to be exact. He's going to be fixed come January when he is 6 mos old. I joined this site because i love my cats! I love my boyfriends cats, and pretty much everyones cats lol
To be honest i was never a cat person prior to a rescue i had adopted a few years back. Sadly "solo" was taken by a coyote. Since then i have had a special place in my heart for cats.
I hope to be able to share stories and help fellow cat lovers wherever i can! Thankyou for welcoming me

        Might Melly be a blue (grey) pussycat?         That is one very pretty photograph of her.

Awww...yes I love Melly too...

Melly looks just like a russian blue sans the eyes. At a year old she got fixed and she was a mere 6lbs. She's put on a little weight as shes been sampling Johnny's kitten food, getting wet food and also hunting outside.
Naturally shes just a small girl but man oh man can she hunt!

   So, it's not just the facial features Melly shares with my boy, she is also is working on that same spherical cat figure that Mouse is so diligently trying to achieve.          Apparently Russian Blues are known to have a liking for food... and that is one characteristic Mouse definitely has championship qualities in.     Sadly I don't think there are any points awarded for it, and it doesn't help in terms of the lean, muscular body they are supposed to have!      Mouse won't be winning any prizes for hunting, I think his one and only mouse-kill looked like it died of exhaustion rather than anything else to me, and when he sees mice it looks more like he's patting them on the head and stroking them than trying to catch them.        That is taking playing with the mice just one step too far for my liking.   Melly's eyes look green to me in your photo here, are they more yellow?   She does look very pretty.   I'd say their former human carer's loss and very much your gain here, they both look precious.
