So this happened,
7 year old healthy cat (very small) got out of the house and got fleas. Her mom gave her a flea bath, and used a flea comb to get them out and a natural wormer just in case she ate one.

She seemed to be fine, but we missed the signs of tape worms, because there weren't any in her waste. But, she was loosing weight, and always wanting to be held. She also only wanted her wet food. We should have noticed she was getting way to thin, but she was eating like a horse.
All of this led to her being dehydrated which made her wobbly. Now we were paying attention!! We rushed her to the vet, he did blood and urinalysis, gave her a shot for the tape worm and Sub Q liquids for the dehydration.
Should have solved the problem right? Wrong, because of her very low weight and almost no fat, the room temp fulid dropped her body temperature down to 95.1.

How did we solve this? Heating pad, warm Gatorade with a tiny bit of maple syrup in it (gave it to her in a dropper every hour) warm cat food.

She stayed snuggle up with mom all night and was eating and drinking on her own the next day.

Moral of the story....pay attention to your cats and don't assume a natural product works.
