Heya guys! I'm so excited to have joined this website because quite frankly, I can't stop talking to my friends about my sweet lil kitten and I think they've just about had enough! LOL. I adopted my little Elfilou (goes by Elfie or Elf, with Christmas near I'm even switching it up with Santa's Elf and whatnot) and I've had her for about a month and a half now. I got her between 8 and 9 weeks old, and she's now 14 weeks old. She's a calico Persian, her mama was an adorable flat faced Persian and her dad is a so called "doll faced" Persian. I wasn't looking for a certain type of breed, I was just looking to adopt a kitten, but after I first met her I knew I was this kitty's new mama.

This is my first cat... kinda! I half lived with a family, for over a year, who had 6 cats. I loved all six of them dearly, but the youngest two were born in their house from when I started staying there, so I was co-parenting! Before those two kittens, I'd been terrified of cats my entire life. Now, I'm a total catperson. I'm not in contact with the family anymore, its been over 3 years, but to this day I still miss all those cats. So when I finally could, I decided to adopt. And Elfie filled a huge hole in my heart.
9/10 weeks old, the ginger on her mouth and nose was starting to fade into white!
12 weeks old, begging to be groomed as soon as I pulled out the brush. she got used to brushing super fast.
she used to just fall asleep when being brushed. past week she's been starting to see it as more of a game...
13 weeks old, stole a spot in my stationery box and clawed it to pieces. then decided this was her new favourite sleeping spot.
at the rate that she's growing though, I doubt she'll fit in there for much longer!
