I'm not sure if this is the proper place. But I'm looking at getting another

Ocicat. However, I'm hoping I can find a descendant of my recently passed

Ocicat.

5-6 years ago I was able to find a list linking her blood lines. A Google search

isn't getting me any hits now. I'm hoping that someone on here may have suggestions.

My 11 year old is registered as Sunstone Phoenicia of Auxarcs. She was a breeder

until she was 3 when I adopted her.

Sadly she had severe asthma and had to be put to sleep recently.

I hope to track down a breeder with one of her descendants.

Thanks

A little more googling I found http://www.ocicat.f2s.com/ which has some more info.

Sunstone Phoenicia of Auxarcs 29.00% {Chocolate silver spotted F} 0227-1507942 11/8/2004
GC Sunstone Khartoum 17.30% x GC Sunstone Abracadabra 23.14%

The only record of a offsping (who has 5)

Auxarcs Leleshwa 21.37% {Chocolate spotted F} 0217-1590354 5/21/2006
       OciOci's Roadster 31.69% x Sunstone Phoenicia of Auxarcs 29.00%

I'm not so sure about going through the finder site.  Have you tried / thought about checking the web sites for Ocicat breeders and who their studs and queens are?   They should have them all listed by full name.

Also, if the original breeder is still around they should know where their breeding cats went to, and might be a member of Ocicat clubs or TICA to trace them?

Now that I have found that site I'm working on a spreadsheet following from

her one kitten to their kittens and so on.

The breeder passed in 2009.

I figured a breeder may stumble on this and recognize the names.

But I think at this point I have a lot of data to work from now.

Hopefully a responsible cattery will come from the search.

Good luck with your search.  As well as looks, I can see beautiful character traits in my Mouse that he has carried from his mother and father, and also his grandmother who I have also met, and would definitley head straight to the same breeder again when the time comes (if possible).  I can understand your wanting to find similar qualities again when you have loved one cat so much.

The persons in the inner circles knows not seldom the whereabout of more or less all cats.   The breed is after all not very big.

So if you find a couple of new owners - males or females - with a little luck you may roll up the entire field.

Also, its not unique some litter didnt got registered online.   I mean, there may be more descendants - you wont find them online, but knowing the right person whom keeps tracks...

In our RB club in Sweden we do have such persons whom knows literally every RB and all their litters, and even whereabouts...

We have similar here for Russian Blues, and also with the pedigree registration with GCCF (Like TICA in the US) as all pedigree cats should be registered under owners / cattery and then if transferred to another owner then that should be registered also, including whether they are entire or neutered.
