I recently had to cut rabbit foods out of our rotation because one of my cats developed an allergy (vomiting when he ate it). That was one of their favorite foods, so it was a shame to take it off the menu. This also puts our rotation back at just birds and fish. I'd love to add something else in there for them.

Currently I feed kibble for one meal each day and canned or raw for the other meal. The kibble is Instinct, alternating between the duck/turkey and the chicken formulas. The canned is various brands, everything from Friskies and Fancy Feast to Weruva and Wild Calling, in mostly poultry flavors with the occasional fish-based. The raw is usually the Primal frozen turkey nuggets (they go NUTS for it!), sometimes a freeze-dried food or raw chicken wings/necks.

Proteins we’ve tried and vomited: beef, venison, lamb, pheasant, rabbit

Proteins we’ve tried with no issues: chicken, duck, turkey, tuna, salmon, probably some other kinds of fish, pork

I prefer not to feed foods with tons of veggies, particularly peas and lentils (inflating the protein content without actually benefitting my cats), but I’m open to all suggestions. In particular, I’m looking to add a new kibble to their rotation because the canned/raw changes daily but the kibble is the same for about a month.

Are there any pork kibbles on the market? Hounds and Gatos doesn’t seem to be sold anywhere near me anymore, so they haven’t had pork in their rotation for a while, except for a sample of the Primal freeze-dried. Any other good proteins I should try?

It looks like you live in the USA from the brands that you have purchased. I love the CHEWY  on line pet food. With 4 cats, I order several flays each month on auto delivery. If you spend $50, the shipping is free! I also have gone to the local pet shop and purchased Rad Cat frozen raw, but the largest container is only 24 oz. and at $12 each, is costly, especially if it only lasts for 1 day! I have been feeding Sheeba, as it appears to be free of all the bad additives, but it's probably time to switch to something else. I like CHEWY because they have a large variety and usually list ALL the ingredients. Beats wandering around the store and trying to read all those little cans!

The Addiction line of canned food has brushtail and buffalo.
Their brushtail has venison in it. :( Would buffalo probably cause the same reaction as beef?
Gah, looks like it's not sold anywhere in my state. Are brushtail and kangaroo as expensive as I suspect? I might have to save those in case my one cat develops and more allergies...

Yep, I'm in the US. I prefer to buy at brick-and-mortar stores because my cats have such sensitive tummies, so I can buy just one can to try instead of a full case.

Thanks for the suggestions!

There might be suggestions here: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/306947/your-favorite-brands-of-novel-protein-canned-cat-food

Here's one pork based dry food: http://www.bynaturepetfoods.com/by-nature-cat-food/grain-free-dry-cat-food/pork-sweet-potato/

Here's a chicken and turkey based dry food that is fairly new: http://rawznaturalpetfood.com/dry-cat-food/chicken-cat-food/

You can keep feeding the same dry food if you are also rotating between different canned foods. Your cat is getting plenty of variety

What about Merrick's Limited Ingredient foods? The chicken is really good quality and a nice soft pate, my cats really like it. Also no weird fillers, so it's good food for the price.

As for kibble, I feed both Orijen cat & kitten as well as Ziwipeak air dried. Both very good quality with little fillers and nothing weird. My cats get it mostly as a snack inbetween raw/wet meals.

Thanks everyone!

I've never seen a pork kibble before. Cool! I'll definitely give quail and Merrick foods a try.

I'm thinking about sticking with the duck/turkey Instinct kibble (eliminating the chicken Raw Boost with the freeze-dried pieces) and mixing in different formulas of Stella and Chewy's with it to get some more variety there. I saw that they have a goose formula, which is interesting.
