And I do like it. My parents just chose them because the liked the names - no family significance.

My middle name is Claire (first name Alexis) Looked both of them up on that 'name site' neither are there! I love both names

Well I don't really have one seeing as my name is Samantha-Ann. But I get called Samantha more often and Sam and Sammy when I'm good!

Rhian Lynne. The Lynne is spelt wrong because my dad registered me(it was supposed to by Lynn after my nan) and Rhian is a welsh name (taken from Rhiannon originally I think)that all my foreign exchange student pals pronounce as Ryan (instead of rhee - anne) I hate my first name cos it's almost unheard of outside Wales.

My Name is Cindy Sue. I love both my first and middle name because it is very rare someone my age (26) to be named Cindy. And it's not Cynthia just plain ol Cindy. I like my middle name also cause it's the only thing that would sound good with just plain ol Cindy

I dont have one I have my confirmation name which is Gabrielle. But I don't us it.

I love my daughters middle name though, chosen by my hubby. Her full name is Tierney Danae (pronounced Teernee Dahnay)

My middle name is Lynn also. My first name is Terri.

My middle name is Lyn. Yes, that's how it's spelled. My mom really liked Lyn spelled that way. So it's Cheryl Lyn.

My mom also said that she thought a second "n" would be redundant. Then, a few years later, she named my brother Michael Scott. When I ask her now why a second "n" on Lyn is redundant but a second "t" on Scott is not, she just tells me to shut up!

My middle name is Leigh. My godmother was into astrology (I know, go figure ) and I'm a Libra, hence the name.

Mine is Gay, after my mom, first name is Cynthia, after her sister. I'm not crazy about my middle name, 'cause I used to get teased about it in school. And if you were to call me "Cynthia" I probably wouldn't answer you !

BTW, for all of us "Cindys" on board, what is it with folks calling us "Cindy-Lou-Who" from the Grinch Christmas tale, or is it just me?

Eeva Katariina. Eeva's the Finnish version of Eve. Got my first name because my parents like the name, and there's plenty of Eevas in both their families. In fact, both my aunts are called Eeva... And I guess the middle name just sounded good. I've always liked my middle name, but my whole name is so close to my other auntie's name (Eeva Kristiina plus the same last name) that I always figured my parents could have come up with a name that's more unique!

Oh, but Rhian is such a pretty name.

My middle name is Joann. I like it b/c it has special meaning to me. I used to HATE it (and I still don't like the way it sounds) but when I got older I realized how much it meant. So now I love it.

My middle name is Eileen - named after my mum. I like it better than my first name – Paula –, which Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve always found to be pretty boring. I just looked it up on that site where you can find out the meaning of your name – thanks for the link georgiagirl8!!!

Paula means “small†– fits to my nickname Dwarfie I suppose, though the guy who gave me the nickname probably didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t know that at the time. I like the meaning of Eileen better – it means “lightâ€!
