the first photo is today's.

this second photo was taken 9 months ago.

It is a brown spot that is in her little nose.
which seems to have grown over time. now she (PI) is 2,5 years old. i avoid sun and use sunlight protection, but it wasn't like that all the time (when she was a baby, even living indoor, she got some sun). spot started to grow 2 years ago.
some specialist here to help me? think is serious?
best

(ps- im not sure if is STILL growing, now she's really indoor all the time, with almost 0 sun contact, i don't know if i can say if stopped to grow some months ago or not, and i don't know if this can be related to sun or it's dangerous. again i really need to hear someone who knows about it. thanks).

Unfortunately, there is no way for us to diagnose this via the internet.   I'm guessing it's possible it is a skin cancer, although you've said you've always used sun protection. I supposed nothing is a 100% guarantee.

You best bet is to take her in to have this examined by a Vet.  That way you will know whether or not this is something to worry about.

Hopefully it is nothing

I call the spots which Artie has on his face, just beauty marks...

Cats With Spots on Their Noses

Many felines....are prone to the development of these wee little black spots. For the most part, these freckles are totally benign....

Veterinary Help

In some less common instances, these spots may be a sign of something more serious, including cancer and various autoimmune diseases. Pay attention to signs that the spots may be something other than simple lentigo simplex. If the spots appear to be elevated and sore to the touch, schedule an appointment with your cat's veterinarian. The sooner you get Kitty's nose checked out, the better you may be able to manage it in the event that it is related to something else.

(I'm not usually a fan of non-professional sites for feline health issues....this one is generally spot-on though, and written in plain language)
You will have trouble deciding if the spot is getting larger......unless you take pictures on a regular periodic basis (perhaps on the first day of every month)....and, on that day, compare the original picture to the most recent (the oldest to the newest) - you should also feel the spot to see if it has grown outwards....use a calendar to remind yourself and make notes of any tiny changes you see.....if she  starts scratching it and/or if I were seeing changes, I would be taking her to a cat-Vet.......are there any cat-only Vets where you are?

As I stated in my original post, it's POSSIBLE it's skin cancer.  Yes, it could be lentigo.  There is really no way for us to know via the internet.

I just had a bad scare with my cat Sam-E who developed a spot just like this on his nose early this year.

t was taking him to the vet for a blood test when I realized that it might just respond to the same calendula creme that I was using on my own face. Online, it stated that calendula was no harm to the cat, and so I used this stuff

http://www.sigridnaturals.com/shop/calendula-ointment/

The brown spot fell of Sam-E's nose one hour later. I have been treating him with the creme every day for the past two weeks. It turns out that the spots were bacterial infections (he also has a scrape where his brother Louie Bear bit him while playing) and the creme has done a great job healing him. I can recommend it to all of you without reservation, and this brand is terrific and has no additives.

We didn't know. We thought it was cancer. I tried the calendula creme because it would not hurt him. After she ran some tests on his skin, we discovered that it was bacterial.

hi, are you able to update us on whether the spot was benign? I hope it was nothing serious?
