My male cat who is almost two years old (and is neutered) has no trouble going in the litter box. We do notice that his urine has a very strong smell.

He seems healthy...eats/drinks well. Is this typical male cats?  We have two cats, two boxes and we clean them daily.

Should I just try a different litter?  Should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance for  advice/tips.

Strong urine is usually a sign of concentrated urine.  Be sure he's drinking enough as that will help decrease the urine smell.  If you're not feeding canned food, add that to his diet as wet food is higher in water content.  You might try watering down wet food to increase his water intake or getting a water fountain to encourage him to drink more.

Also, if his litter box isn't completely cleaned out at least every 2 weeks, the litter will start smelling and this won't help the strong urine odor.
