My very pregnant woke me up this morning by "screaming" at me. She now is laying on my chest and everytime i move she freaks out and bites me until i sit still. She is due between dec.7 and dec.15. I had thought she was in labor on the 9th but still no babies. Here are the signs that she keeps having on and off that worry me.
-clear/pinkish discharge
-her temperature has dropped to 98.6°
-she is acting like mommy to a kitten she had previously hated with a passion
-she still loves food very much it just wont stay done not even the smallest bit
-she refuses to go into any of the nesting boxes
-she has what looks like random visible contractions.
-she want stop meowing
-she is breathing a little bit heavier

Does this all mean she is in labor or will be soon. I am worried for her.

P.S. nothing mean my animals are like my children. We also had planned on getting her fixed thats how we found out she was pregnant and i couldnt do it. She will be fixed as soon as the vet says its ok.

Not sure if you can see it but her tongue is sticking out a little

Sounds like labor.  Try rubbing her stomach.  Sometimes that feels good.

Does the discharge smell bad?  It's probably just her water leaking.  It should not smell.

Cats usually go to the nesting box when they are ready to give birth.  But she may just have them on your chest.  You can move them later.

I am rubbing her stomach and she seems to like it. I am fine with her having them on my chest if thats where she wants to have them. No the discharge does not smell

When did this start?  Have you been to see a vet since she got pregnant?  If so you may be able to call and ask questions over the phone.

Crusties are normal.  It's her milk leaking a little and drying on her nipples.  You can put some olive oil  or veggie oil on them if they look irritated.

Not necessarily pink, but the color changes and the nipples get more pronounces.  Since she has milk, it's no worries.

Yes she has been to the vet. We took her in to get fixed and found out she was very pregnant. I am waiting for the vet to call me back.

Since your cat is a patient at the vet, they should be able to answer questions over the phone.    You don't want to take the cat in unless it's an emergency.  It will be stressful on top of the labor.

It's normal.  She has dropped, meaning the kittens have moved into the birth canal.  It may still be a day or so before she gives birth or it could be soon.  Every cat is different.

She's dropped. Kittens are heading into the birth canal to be born.

Sounds like she's in very active labor. Pink discharge is perfectly normal. The ripples you see are contractions.

If she doesn't give birth in her nest, you can move her babies there when she's done.

You should have kittens within 24 hours.

Good luck!

Try to be calm and less anxious, and rub her belly. She will be more stressed if you are stressed. Breathe deeply and relax.
