How to feed 2 cats best

Hi I was wondering what is the best way to feed our 2 cats , at the moment we leave a little dry food out all day and feed then a little wet food at night.
Their bowls are not empty of dry food when I get home from work .
So I was wondering whether to just put the dry food out only twice a day ?

We have a few more than two (five total specifically). We free-feed dry, so ideally it never runs out unless we aren't paying attention. In which case, the cats will quickly bring it to our attention. We also feed wet at night.

I don't think there's an incorrect "way" of feeding them, so you may just need to try different things and see what works for them. Just make sure they are getting enough to eat in the process.

I agree. This is what I would do as well. 

I feed my two some wet in the AM and again in PM, and they free feed dry. They just nibble their dry here and there and they are both good water drinkers. If you had a cat who gorged themselves on dry than this wouldn't work. It definitely depends on the cat.

I find my cats wil eat all dry and I wet if allowed. Like a kid would rather eat sweets than his dinner. Too much dry makes them fat and can cause health issues later in life. I only hand feed a Bit of kibble as a treat twice a day!
