What a star cat Angel is, being so good with the vets.
All the probiotics, B12 and fluids help balance out how the chemo leaves him feeling in a few days, and no doubt Angel will get all the comfort and snuggles he needs from you to maximize the effect of all treatment.

How sweet is Angel all tucked up in bed - I don't think it matters whether I make my bed or not because Mouse always seems to find somewhere to burrow in (my excuse not to bother making it
).   I love how Angel is strategically placed to snooze but once he squints his eyes open he can look out the window for entertainment,  that is purrfect for resting and building his strength up.

Bucket loads of good wishes for the week to come and that Angel is calm and content going in for his treatment next week.

It is a big step to take, but a great move. I will keep sending tonnes of positive vibes and willing your fund to build up well to help Angel through his treatment.

That is a big step to take but I am sure it is a great move, and having links where people can see more of the story about your life together with Angel and how much he means to you has to help people feel easier about supporting you.

How is Angel doing today?   Is he still snuggling up in your bed?  Is his apetite keeping up?

I'm so sorry to hear about Angel's diagnosis. But don't give up hope, cats really do well on chemo. My boy Jack (6 yrs old) was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma back in August and he's been doing really well on his chemo (although his is a different protocol). We're keeping fingers and paws crossed for sweet Mr. Angel!

Today, (Mon.)  Angel woke me up with a little meow, so I thought, great!  First time he has done that in a while. Maybe he's ready to eat. I got up & fixed some food for him, & he only took a few licks.

A little later, I got him to eat a little more, but that's it. So, I went ahead and gave him his appetite stimulant, as he was due for another today anyway, (every 3 days)  He's been hiding out in a couple of spots resting, so I thought I'd just leave him alone for a while, & hopefully it will kick in soon. Well, while I was in the shower, he threw up what little bit he ate this morning, so I went ahead & gave him his anti-nausea med. too. Also due for that today.   The vet said that the "kill off" of cancer cells would be around 4-5 days after treatment, so maybe that is starting to happen as well.

He has got to eat more that 3/4 of a small 3oz can a day!  That's what he seems to be doing about once a day, when he does finally get hungry & decide to eat. Then, I may get him to eat a little more later, but not much.

I had some Purdue ground chicken in the freezer I took it out, & I am going to cook it up tonight for him. I know when I have done that w/turkey in the past he always wants/gets some while it's still plaine,& not seasoned  for anything I was fixing it for. Hopefully he will eat some of that, because at this point, he will get as much as he wants!

She really is!   It hasn't even been a week yet, since his first treatment, and I am exhausted!!!  It's a lot to keep up with. Just trying to get him to eat enough alone. I just really don't want him to have to get a feeding tube, he's stressed enough already with all the pilling 2-3xs/day.

Hang on in there @Angels mommy  ,  everyone is here willing Angel to get well, sending prayers and positive vibes your way.    So many people here have gone through similar experiences and come out the other end with their loved one, to have many years more together.   Of course you are exhausted, between the physical routines, with worry and effort of trying to get Angel to eat, and all the emotions you have to keep on top of to get through every day.  You can do this for Angel through, and he knows that anything you do with him is because you love and care for him so much.

The vet said to expect nausea to start round about now, but hopefully the medications will help to settle this, and as treatment goes on you will find ways to keep him interested in food.   Love is very powerful, and Angel is certainly surrounded by loads of love so he is in the best position possible to start getting better.

Sorry to hear about Angel's diagnosis.  Hope all goes well with his treatment and that Angel is back healthy and strong in no time.  And as was mentioned above, don't forget to take care of yourself as you take care of Angel.  Good luck.

We actually just got back from running out to the vets!  Angel was just meowing AT me like he was trying to tell me something, but just wasn't sure what. I thought maybe he was hungry, but just didn't want to eat. I watched his chest & seemed to be breathing a little rapidly, so thought maybe fluid was in his chest again. It was already 6:00, so I quickly called before they closed. I brought him in, & xray showed it was clear, so he may be starting to feel some discomfort. The vet said if he was in pain, he wouldn't have been eating  here & there today, but would be hiding away. She started him on a very small amount of pain meds, 1/8 a pill, because he is so sensitive, to see how he does. It's Tramadol. He's doesn't do well on the Buprophin (sp?) It makes him stay wide awake, for like 24 hrs!! SO, we will see how he does on this, if well, will be 1/4 a pill.

He ate a little bit of the ground chicken, hopefully he will eat a little more later. He was down to 14.2 lbs tonight.

She also gave him some fluids tonight.

I am going to sign off for the night. Here it is almost 8:30 again, & I still haven't eaten dinner.  This computer is also being rediculous lately! Takes forever just to post something because I am always having to reload for some reason, The last time it did this, a friend who is good w/ computers couldn't find anything, so?? don't know.   Frustrating!
