I emailed Purina and asked them the magnesium content in their canned foods and they answered within hours by email.

All theirs seem low in magnesium..which I was wanting to know due to

from what I learned over years is you want low magnesium content in dry or canned food, in order to have healthier urinary tract in cats..

If I am wrong correct me...

all of their canned food at 3oz...are below 0.4 in magnesium

most are in the 0.3 range..

I feed Nutro dry chicken and brown rice also

does anyone know what the

mag is in that?

I have not called them yet.

It seems no-one has the answer to this, @SheriT

Probably best just to ring them.
