Maya says hi!

Hi all, I fostered and subsequently adopted this little cutie, and she's been with us for almost a month now. She's very playful and vocal, but when she's tired she turns into a lap cat and purrs like crazy. Unfortunately I've noticed she is terrible around other cats, which is unfortunate since our neighbors' cat used to visit us daily. If she sees a cat her hair stands on end and she growls, yowls, and hisses like a little maniac. She's only 3 1/2 months old, is there a safe way to get her gradually acclimated to other cats?

Sorry, can't help with her dislike/fear of other cats. But I can say that Maya is a cutie pie.
