I can't remember her creatinine level (at work now) but it was within the normal range.  I do have appetite stimulants, she had one yesterday morning (only supposed to give her 1/4 pill every 3 days).

The vet wants to see her again...said Mia is acting like she has pancreatitus even though the test was negative.  Also wants to try an ultrasound in case there's a blockage that the x-rays didn't show.  The vet also suggested morphine because Mia looks really uncomfortable and I haven't seen her sleep.

I don't know what to think.
My vet always said the best way to get an accurate and positive test for pancreatitis is during an attack or flare up.  My vet's "cocktail" for a flare up was sub q fluids with cerenia, B12, another fast acting anti nausea drug that i can't remember or find online, and sometimes buprenorphine a really good and safe opioid for cats is he was in pain.

She has urinated in the litter box a little, since I'm giving her subq fluids, but no poo yet.  I just started syringe feeding her yesterday late morning, so that might take a little longer.

The vet is recommending an ultrasound, so I'm taking her in first thing tomorrow morning for that.  She said that will rule out an obstruction and could help diagnose pancreatitus, if that's what's wrong.  In the meantime I'm going to keep syringe feeding, subq, and cerenia.

Mia just vomited all the food I've given her the last 2 days. Our appointment is 930 tomorrow morning.

:(

Oh, poor little baby! Perhaps she can only have injectable Cerenia for now. Either that or she may need one that is a bit stronger (or possibly in addition to). Like @StephenQ  mentioned above. Hopefully the vet is able to help her feel better tomorrow.

Thanks guys! I rescued her off the street in 2006. She had started living in my shed at the time because it had a big hole in it. :)

I'll let you know how it goes at the vet today.

The vet visit today went pretty well. The ultrasound ruled out an obstruction and pancreatitus. Her stomach had a lot of fluid and her lymph nodes were inflamed, so the vet said she may have gastritis, or possibly lymphoma but that could only be diagnosed with a biopsy. So we are going to try treating for gastritis and see if she gets better.

She had an injection of steroids and Famotidine at the vet, and I'm going to continue with Cerenia, appetite stimulants, subq fluids, and syringe feeding.

Mia does seem to have a little more energy today.

Ok! Any discussion of a needle aspirate of her lymph nodes? We were able to get a diagnosis that way.

No not yet.  The vet wants to talk at least once a day to see how things are going first.

Wouldn't that be unusual for her to have lymphoma but all of her blood and urine tests are within the normal range?

My cats blood levels never showed anything with respect to lymphoma or cancer until the last day.....

I'm sorry :(

I fed Mia twice today and she vomited the second time...seemed to be a lot of stomach acid in it. I'm hoping the Famotidine has kicked in now and she won't throw up again.

Is the Cerenia just not working? Is there any way they could give injections for it? I think you said you give subqs, so you could easily give injections with that. Only bad thing it's probably more expensive, but it would help with this puking hump perhaps.

I'm giving her subq daily now. I'm hoping that we're over the puking hump now...Maybe the Famotidine will stop so much stomach acid from building up. I'm also feeding her even more slowly and smaller amounts than I was before.
