My Callie got out Saturday morning as my boyfriend went to work. She loved going outside and would often do it. I would go to the door 30 minutes to an hour later and she would come in giving me lovings. But this morning he had to go in earlier than usual so I slept not knowing she was outside. A few hours later when I got up she was no where around. I looked outside and she wasn't there. When Larry called he said she got out. I have posted to Craigslist, PetFBI both the site and facebook. I also have asked neighboors.

I have put litter outside and an old shirt of mine that has my scent. I dont know what else to do. The house just seems empty. My Lil Bit seems different. I got both of them when they were 6-7 weeks old a week apart so they have grown up together. Callie was Lil Bit's Mommy for a while because she would cry and Callie would go to her.

I miss her so bad. She had this little sound she would make when she was happy between a thrill and a chirp. God I miss that.

Could you print up some fliers and put them in mailboxes or tucked in front door handles? People here have reported getting lost cats back after months and many times posters and fliers were responsible. Here's hoping your little girl comes home soon. [emoji]128008[/emoji]

If she got spooked she is likely hiding nearby. I found that the best time to search for a frightened cat is late at night when there is less noise and activity. Also, put out some water and food for her. Cats are very resourceful, don't give up on her. I hope you get her back soon.

I tried putting out some food and warm tuna but some strays ate it within an hour. Where we live in an apartment complex there is so many of them. It's actually sad at how many there is. I used to feed them but the manager of my complex said I was not allowed to. I pray she will come home soon.

I am so sorry that you are in this predicament. When you go out searching & calling tonight, be sure to keep any panic or distress out of your voice. Also, use your flashlight to spot any glowing tapetums - some will be the eyes of ferals, but you might also spot Callie this way.. Shame on your manager for not allowing you to feed the ferals. I hope that there is a TNR group in your area that will help TNR the strays and thus get the problem under control. Please keep us posted!!!! Hugs, Susan

I just wanted to update. My tablet has been tore up and I couldn't before.

Any way On December 12th I got a text from a lady that saw my add on Pet Fbi. She found Callie. The day she went missing there was an Uhaul truck in front of our apartment. The lady that found her said someone had moved in two or three doors down. Considering that she was 5 to 6 miles from home she most likely hitched a ride. I am so thankful for the lady that brought her back to me. And thank you for your support.

Fantastic! There is nothing like a happy ending. I'm so glad Callie is home safe and sound. [emoji]128077[/emoji]
