A Pet Alert card that you carry in your wallet

How about this idea? A card that slips in your wallet alerting others in case of emergency that you have pets at home that require care?

Pet Alert

Of course in my case, I would need several of these- but I think it is a great idea!

It is a great idea. I have a little card with some of that kind of information that I got when I registered JC's transponder (he's registered with a European organization and two German ones). It's also good to have a sign on your house with the number and types of pets where fire fighters and police can spot it right away.

I have emergency contacts in mine and they all know what to do with/for the cats. (and have keys)

That's a great idea.

I keep the cats' rabies tags (& the dogs' old ones) on the detachable part of my keychain in case anything happens to me- the vet's phone # is on them, and the animals' info can be traced by the tags. But it seems better (and lighter!
) to use those cards.
