Hey guys, I have been following The Cat Site for a while now and you guys have been very helpful for new cat owners like me :)

I noticed recently my cat's belly kinda swollen a bit. He still goes to the bathroom normally. He doesn't eat as much as he used to though. No vomiting. No diarrhea. His stool look preety normal. He also been hacking and I thought because of the hairball, so I gave him the hairball remedy in the tube already.

I don't know what could it be? He still plays but not as active, probably because of the big belly. He's one year old and living indoor.

Is his belly hard or does it feel soft, like he's retaining liquid? Am praying it's not FIP. Can you bring him into a vet?

It's not rock hard. And I am not sure how his normal belly supposed to feel like..When I pressed he doesn't seem like in pain or anything.

Yes, he has been dewormed when he was 3 month-old.

Can you take a picture of his belly with him laying belly up? It does seem round.

I'm concerned because you said he's not eating as much. As for worms, it can take a couple treatments. My cat was also dewormed, as a kitten, but I found worms in his stool at 1 year. So it's possible.

I'm not an expert but hoping an advisor etc will be along. Was he a feral kitten? And you're sure he's a he? Silly question, but just thought I'd ask.

Yes, i am sure he is a he. He is neutered. This morning he back to his normal amount of food, seems like he is little bit mor active too.
Here the picture of him with his belly up
