Can you burp a cat? She's soooo bloated and I just want to help her get all the gas out of her belly (so I can feed her without her vomiting). Cats can burp, right?

I'm making this thread just to ask this one question, I have a good idea which food gave her the gas (squash baby food, which I gave her for the diarrhea from the turkey and rice baby food...).

For all the exciting backstory on her gut problems:

Kittens have to be burped.  You do this by holding them up to your shoulder and patting their back like you would a baby.  I suppose you could try to help your cat.  Try adding regular plain canned pumpkin to her diet.  Was there any ingredient besides squash in what you gave her?

Nope, just (orange winter) squash and water. I got it because I figured I didn't need a whole can....

Oh lookee, bright orange diarrhea. Well that was effective.
