You may certainly blame it on broken glasses.  I blame a LOT on my elderly ones. 

Yeah, we've hit the nail on the head with the pitched fit.  Ms. Mercy had her widdle furry nose put out of joint by the desertion of one of her minions!   BOTH minions are expected to dance attendance on such a perfect example of felinehood.

Love the photo of Mooks.  She has a little black lace frill around her gullet, just like Hekitty's (who gives me the Look of Death when I mention it, almost as bad as when I mention the white spot in her armpit.

I don't know if you can see it. Mooks base color is blue smoke. Her coat is so tight you don't see it unless you part her fur. Which she hates. 

Hekitty's seems to be.  And she, also, hates having her Illustriousness trifled with.  For any reason, other than earrubs and chinskritches, and well timed and modultaed strokes.  I'm also basing this on the fact that when she lost all the fur on her body due to severe concrete allergies, her undercoat is blue-gray with black flecks.  She looked like a cat in gray flannel pajamas...

She's one of the few cats I've known that actually enjoys full=body rubs, in small doses, and LOVES having her tail pulled.  Not yanked, of course, but gently and smoothly tugged.  She immediately falls over, waves her paws in the air, then gets up and puts her tail in your hand again.  I'm thinking maybe it's like a spinal adjustment from a chiropractor?  Who knows.  Cats.  ESPECIALLY TORTIES!

Kitten lived to have you run your hand from head to tail lifting her whole rear end up doing it.

You have to love that butt lift thing they do.  Long live Kitten's memory!

7 months old now. She has is becoming more and more our cat. She likes to walk up and just fall against us.

They do look a lot alike. When you post some pictures we can do some side by sides.

Where did my baby go ? She was sitting in the kitchen earlier and I had to look to see if the tail was slick or fluffy to tell which cat it was.
