well that makes sense , now I have more questions

does that mean it would be more dangerous?

If the cat goes into heat how long does it last usually?

There was a thread about this not very long ago. My vet clinic doesn't like to spay cats while in heat, because when in heat, there's more bloodflow in the area, which makes for a bigger risk when operating.

For my cats, the heats have always been along the lines of week in heat, week out, week in heat, week out. Didn't find out how long it would last this way, got them spayed in between heats!
