Bittersweet.. Saying goodbye to fosters

As a first time foster I didn't realize how hard it would be to let the babies go. I got them right around 4 weeks and they were not well. I am very thankful to everyone on this site for all of the help and advice I received. I love two little kittens but they are going together to their forever home on Saturday. I know their new owners are loving and will take great care of them but I am really sad to see them go. Does it ever get easier????

Ask the new owners to send occasional updates.  I find once I know they are in a good place I can feel happy for them.  Also remember those tiny babies will get bigger and then you would have no room for other foster kitties.
