I've recently rescued a stray and I've been kinda paranoid recently regarding her health. She's not due back at the vet until December 7th but I've been very worried about her having worms. I've constantly check her fur for signs of eggs, which I've found none. Her belly does get bloated a bit and she gets gassy after eating but that could be a side effect of the amoxicillin, right? I found something in her litter box this morning that could be a worm but I'm not sure. If it is, is there a store where I can buy the medicine without going back to the vet early? Or would she be okay until the 7th?

Yes, that looks like a worm to me. It's better to get a good quality worming medicine from your vet rather than buy the cheap over-the-counter ones. The cheap ones can cause dreadful allergic reactions. If you take a stool sample in to your vet they can test what type of worms she has and give you something to treat them with.

You could wait until Monday, but if she has started to pass worms it's a sign of a pretty bad infestation.

If your cat has seen the vet recently (within the past year) you can pick up De worming tablets over the counter before your next visit, they need your cat's current weight if they don't already have it, check with receptionist

The only REAL De wormer is sold from your Vet, not in pet stores.

I'm going to call the vet this morning and try to get some medicine for her. I have the kitty confined to a spare bedroom and bathroom as of right now. Would she be okay to roam the house freely? I've never dealt with parasites in a pet before and I'm super freaked out.

Don't worry. I've dealt with dozens of cats and kittens with round worms and I've never caught anything from them.

Other cats can pick them up from her if they share a litter box, but if she's an only pet you don't have to worry about that. If you do have other cats ask your vet about getting a wormer for them too.

You will need to worm her 2-3 times a few weeks apart so you kill all stages of the worm's life cycle. Your vet will advise.
