I was preparing a new batch of raw for the cats last night and since the meat is for them don't really mind them reaching up to have a sniff. Unfortunately Rigel decided to have more of a sniff! He grabbed one of the 600g slabs of turkey and trotted off with it. Almost got to our bed before I managed to snatch it away. For the rest of the food-making session he sat next to the counter, growling at our other cat when she came near the meat.

We are mostly vegetarian (I eat seafood, partner eats meat only rarely), so any Christmas day turkey will probably be the cats' anyway :D

A little while ago my partner came home to find an organic turkey breast in the fridge and got all excited for the special treat, until he learned that it was actually for the cats. I didn't realize it was Thanksgiving and he thought it was celebratory turkey for him!
