How did your vet make the diagnosis, what kinds of tests were run, or biopsies?  What kind of cancer is he making diagnosis for?

The vet said he has lymphoma, first they ran blood test and they said he had an infection but couldn't tell what it was until they did an ultrasound and no biopsy was done. Right now they said its in his spleen and possibly spread to his liver but could't tell because Tanguay was uncomfortable with the exam. Before he went to the vet he stop eating Monday and his stomach was bloated, he was severely dehydrated. He had an appetite when he came home but just a few hours ago he vomit all his food up. He's excluding himself from the rooms and is laying under my sister bed.

Is your vet recommending any kind of treatment?  My girl Tiger had weight loss, loss of appetite and vomiting, her ultrasound showed a thickening of hter intestine but the IM who did the ultrasound could not say if it was IBD or Lymphoma, only a biopsy would have given us a diagnosis. My regular vet supplied me with anti-nausea, anti-vomiting meds, an appetite stimulant and I was able to keep her comfortable for many months until I lost her to pancreatic cancer unexpectedly.

I hope you will consider joining the Feline Lymphoma support group: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/feline_lymphoma/info   There are very experienced members, including an IM Vet who could likely answer questions and give support.
