So... in true crazy cat lady fashion, I decided I would honor my Lucky's memory by giving another kitty a home to call her own. I officially adopted Penelopy (all-black kitty) today.
Isolation doesn't work well in my house. It lasted about as long as it did with the kittens back in July. She's a tiny cat and snuck out when I opened the door. So far, only Oliver hissed at her. I'm not surprised, he's a bit on the anti-social side (and he's a kitten!). Oscar is definitely more interested in being friends, but keeping his distance a bit for the moment. Thankfully my boys are both fixed (phew!) otherwise I definitely wouldn't have brought her home.
Sara is watching from a distance, which is pretty typically for her. Maple probably won't even know she is here until a month from now. Talk about anti-social.
Should be a fun night, that's for sure.

It was put in the stocking for the kitties last Christmas. I was so happy the three of them were all playing though! Even with Oscar jumping really freaking high and landing on both of the other two, lol. And later, Penelopy was on a box of pop, and she and Oliver locked eyes for a second. Usually at that point he would hiss at her, but he just rolled on the floor instead
