Is psyllium husk safe for cats? Her stool is coming out as hard pellets. She used to take Benefiber but then was off it, when the constipation started again. I am wary of giving Benefiber again due to the wheat in it.

You can try pumpkin for the constipation. Either use canned 100% pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling) or Weruva's Pumpkin Patch Up supplement.

A little unflavored Miralax (from the Human pharmacy) may help as well. The cat dose is 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon dissolved in water and then mixed into canned food.
