I am a huge coupon person. Just today I got 15 cans of friskies cat food at my local Weis for $1.00. And when I was checking out I got another coupon for $0.50 off another visit. So when I go back for more catfood I am going to get another 15 cans for $0.50. YIPPEE.
Luckly Leo is not picky about his food. Feeding him isn't costing me too much.

30 cans of cat food for $1.50??!!!!!

I use coupons all the time too, and the best savings I usually get is "buy one, get one free"!

Both Petsmart and Petco are good about giving coupons or freebies with Royal Canin food. Out of 3 times buying the larger bag at Petco, I have received either a small bag of food free or free litter. The last 2 times I bought at Petsmart and have received a coupon from the register for a free smaller bag of food.

Do ya'll think it is worth getting the Sunday Paper just to get the coupons out of it?
I will have to check out Petsmart and Petco for thier deals. Thanks for the info!
I spend sooo much $ on kitty litter. Does anyone know of coupons or good deals on litter?
Also, does anyone "buy" coupons off of eBay?

We are always looking for coupons. We don't find many good ones for cat food though. I never get good deals like that though (and my cats are always eating Friskies)!

I always buy the Sunday paper. Sometimes it is hit or miss but sometimes I hit the payload.
Luckily I live in an area where they double coupons to $1.00. And I always search the sales papers too. So I know where to hit and when to do it too. I drive by bf crazy with all the stockpiling that I do but I think it is worth it.

Coco Maui-

As far as kitty litter a few months ago I got in on a deal on Fresh Step litter that was $4.99 a box at my local Superfresh. On the box was a coupon for buy 2 get 1 free. So I stocked up on that too. One thing to do to get coupons is to seach for the companies sites that make cat litter, cat food, etc. They sometimes post coupons for their products.

I have never bought coupon off of Ebay though.

I am a MAD couponner! The Sunday paper is definitely worth buying for the coupons. I like to try new products, and there are often large discounts on them in the newspaper coupons. I have every one of the savings cards from the grocery stores, and use them every time I shop, that generates more on the spot coupons for the next time I buy that item, or a similar one, and many of the stores send out extra coupons in the mail. I shop at the stores that have double coupon days when they have items that I need there. Wal-Mart is good for price matching, so take your sale papers with you when you go. If an item is on sale at another store, show them the ad, and they will give it to you at that price. I have saved up to 60% on my grocery buys. The more you buy, the more you can save, so I try to plan on at least buying for a couple of weeks if possible. I seldom save less than 30% on a big purchase. It takes devoting a little time, but we figures out for every hour I devote to organizing and clipping, I can save between $30-$40. Just yesterday, I got $63 worth of stuff for $41, just with my store card, no coupons. I always stock up when items I use a lot are buy one get one free. My s/o used to tease me about it until I started showing him reciepts. Now he brags to his friends on how thrify I am.

I am a huge fan of coupons. Just today I went grocery shopping and saved $6.25!! I get the sunday paper delivered and usually save three times the cost of the paper in coupons. That is a great deal on catfood !!

Couponing is a great thing and you almost always recoup the cost of the newspaper. I have to get a little better with my organizing though lol.

I also clip coupons. I started when things were really tight, but have continued even though we are doing better than before financially. I got a subscription to the Sunday Paper, just for the coupons. It costs $26/year for the paper, and I have saved that much with coupons in just a couple weeks at times. It's definitely worth it, especially getting the subsription. It costs $2.17 per month to get the paper, and I can save that much in one small trip to the store!

There aren't too many coupons in my paper for cat food and litter, although every few months there are $1.00 off Tidy Cats, which is what I use anyway.

I was just talking to my bf last night about getting a subscription to the Sunday paper. I hate getting out of bed early on Sat to go to the store. We just need to find out which edition of our paper has the coupons, Sat or Sunday?

Its not too often that I find coupons for cat food but I always keep an eye out for them. So when I find a deal like I did this week I jump right on it!

That is really cool. I have gotten razors for free after a rebate but never randomly in the mail.
