Cat breed
Hi can anyone tell me what breed this cat is? And if they loving and friendly. Someone told me that they're very shy and afraid of loud noises. He does seem to behave this way but his only 3 months old and I got him about a week ago.

Hello all! [emoji]128522[/emoji] I'm new to this site. I'm the owner of two kitties. One's named milo his 11 months the other is dusty his only 3 months just got him a few days ago.

I had another named Mozart who sadly passed away 2 years ago, he was 13 years old. I still miss him so

That's milo.

They both are long haired.

I thought so to (Maine Coon or Siberian mix) but I'm not sure. He does have a flat face though... Lol!
Milo the older one has a very fine and soft coat and needs lots of maintenance. Dusty's fur seems rougher it's thicker and stronger which I prefer, his hair doesn't fly all over the place. They seem to be getting along better today but milo still is a bit overbearing. His still playing roughly but it seems the worse is over.

Do u all think it's a good idea for them to share litter boxes? at the moment its separate. They're still sleeping apart for now. I don't completely trust milo alone with dusty yet! Lol!
Thanks so much for your input on the description of the cat... [emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji][emoji]128522[/emoji]

I wonder if Milo can possibly be a point, here lynx point?  I see the forepaws are darkish, as is the face markings.  Is tail and ears darker than the body, too?  What is the color of the eyes?

Part of the rough playing is probably a dominance thing - he wants it to be established he is the master cat.  He is not so mean for beating up the little one, but he still wants to make sure his supremacy.

Its wise for you to downgrade any conflicts by letting them have own litter.  Later on they will happily use one jointly, but its still wise to have two litters.  Especially if you have a big flat, or a house in two planes.    Two litters are really making both theirs and yours life easier.  For example, you dont need to clean it as often, if you cant.
