I have been caring for a stray that was pregnant. She had four kittens, all are gone but the one I'm keeping. The kitten is 14 weeks now. I had the mom spayed 2 weeks ago and I'm taking my kitten for shots next week when I get paid. When should I get him fixed?

When I gave away the last kitten, I reclaimed my room, and threw out the bedding that had been destroyed. They had been peeing under my bed, (thank goodness i dont have carpet) so I moved my furniture and cleaned the floor, then used vinegar and baking soda, let it sit and saturate. Then I used an enzyme cleaner as well. Its been three days and one of the cats is still peeing under the bed....not in the original spots, but still under the bed! I've seen both the mom and kitten pee in the litter box too! I'm not sure how to stop this behavior???!! I'm not sure if the kitten is spraying since its only under my bed. And yes the litter box is always clean and sifted.

I had someone tell me to just put my bed on the ground so they can't go under it, but I'm worried they may pee next to it and I'll have to get a new box spring. Plus they like to hide and sleep under my bed. They have pulled the fabric from the bottom of the box spring and hide/sleep/ play inside. In the morning I'm going to clean under it the same way I did before, but I'm going to cut away the fabric and hope that this will make them want to go under there less.

HELP! I just, want the bad behavior to stop.

Confine them in a different room, or exclude them from your bedroom. It sounds like they are still peeing under your bed out of habit. They learned it was ok, so they're still doing it. Break the cycle and keep them out for a couple of weeks, then slowly let them back in on supervised visits until you're sure they won't repeat. Use that time to clean the bejeesus out of the floor and your bed.

In regards to neutering, some vets go by age, but these days any kitty over 2 lbs is usually considered for neuter/spay. I had my boys neutered at approximately 13 weeks. They were already 2.5 lbs each at 8 weeks so guessing your little guy is probably already over 2 lbs.
