On close out at Big Lots 50 cents per can. I bought 48 cans for the feral. 82 cents on Chewy, much better than Friskies for same price.

Thanks for posting this! I'm in Ohio too - I'm going to check out our Big Lots tonight after we go get dinner, hopefully they are on sale here too! I got a couple sample cans of Chicken Soup in the mail a few days ago and my cats loved them, so this would be a great deal!!

Definitely a good buy for 50 cents a can, does contain rice but good ingredients if cats can handle grain. I thought kitten food would help put some weight on the outside cats!
I went to Big Lots and they had both the Kitten and Adult cans on sale for 50 cents! The big 5.5oz cans!
So I grabbed up a bunch - I like the Chicken Soup brand. It's pretty decent for a lower priced food - this really took some strain off our budget this week - thanks for posting this, I don't ever go into Big Lots - no particular reason, just never went there before....... We also got a HUGE sisal & carpet scratching post for the cats over there for only $20, I couldn't believe it! And fortunately they all LOVED the scratching post when I brought it in - I rubbed some catnip all over it and they were entertained and having a good time. And it's like 4 foot tall and SOLID so it won't move around at all when they put their weight on it, plus it has a nice perch at the top to sit on & survey the kingdom lol...... I need to start checking out Big Lots more often, they had a whole gang of stuff on sale............

Do all Big Lots carry this brand? I looked it up and it looks good. They even have a hairball version of the dry.

$1 to 85 cents depending where you shop. It was bought out and big lots gets clearance items cheap. They only had cans at my store, I do not know if it will be back with new Branding, chewy.com has it!

I was just at Big Lots today, and they had a ton of the Chicken Soup brand, plus Red Barn and Spring Naturals brands. Big and small cans for .50 cents. I bought a couple cans of the Spring Naturals and Red Barn to try. They're minced, and the cats are partial to pate, but I'm hoping to get them to broaden their tastes.

Wow red barn is one of my cats favorites, my big lots did not have any!

Oh man do I know mangled blinds. Big Lots is the place to go for those, too. $4 and no more mangled blinds. I have one on my front door that my dog mangles. I replace it, a car drives by, someone closes a car door or whatever and she's jumping at the door, pulling at them.

My BigLots didn't have Red Barn either - they only had those clearance Chicken Soup cans, Friskies, Fancy Feast, and some brand of canned food called "Mio 9" but it was all fishy flavors so I didn't get any. I didn't check out their kibble, just the canned food. They really did not have a wide selection, but they're the only place I've been to that stocks the Chicken Soup brand! I hope they aren't discounting the Chicken Soup brand to clear out that inventory because they're gonna stop carrying it......I'll stop back in there in a couple weeks to see what they've got! I was really surprised that they had so much cat furniture there - a lot of beds, kitty condos, scratching posts, etc - they were all nice, and on sale too
Both the Red Barn 5.5 & 3 oz cans, and Spring Naturals 3 oz cans were 50 cents each. The Big Lots near me had 4-5 cases of each brand.
@bonepicker - Maybe try again? They may have just gotten them in?

Eh, I was feeling lazy & wanted to get home, so I didn't stop by there after work tonight. I will for sure tomorrow though - I really need to go grocery shopping, and the BigLots is right next to Kroger, so I'll definitely hit it up tomorrow night!
