Happy......Saturday!

I am so sorry. My mind, my mind is shot and I have no idea what's going on anymore. My thanks to LaRussa for reminding me that I never posted the QoTD yesterday. And my apologies to all of you for being so forgetful.

But, by golly, we will have a Friday's QoTD, even if it is on Saturday!

So, my question to you today is: What is the last thing that you forgot to do?

I don't normally turn on my radio alarm in the bedroom since I am retired but the last time I had an early appt., I totally forgot to turn it on and if Autumn hadn't wakened me, I would have been late.

My husband asked me to pick up cigarettes from the store. I totally spaced it got groceries & cat food forgot the cigs.

i think the last thing i forgot to do was to put the rest of the plastic storage container holding (the rest of) a can of cat food back in the fridge. i noticed several hours later, so that cat food got thrown in the trash.

I wondered what had happened to Friday's question. It's already Sunday afternoon here.

I forgot to lock the front door last night. Mr Husband usually does it, but he was working overnight so the kitties and I were here alone. Thank heavens those bears haven't learnt how to open doors yet, we could have all been eaten in our beds.

I did that one time when Rick was away. Got up the next morning and couldn't find my car keys to go to work. And I looked all over the house. Finally it hit me and I'm thinking, "Oh Pam, you did not! You did NOT!" Well, yeah, I did. Not only did I not lock the front door, but I never took the keys out of the deadbolt when I came home from work the day before.

Dear Richard was appalled when he called me later on that morning and I told him what I did not do. Like Mr. Husband, Rick goes around once it starts to get dark, checking all the doors, shutting the living room drapes, etc. Without fail.

The last thing I forgot to do was pick up mum's Christmas present on Friday. I commissioned a local artist to paint Shadow and Cali ( :rbheart:

) snuggling together as kittens, and collecting it from the shop when clean out of my mind! :doh3: I hope the artist is understanding... :cross:

It's worrying, isn't it? At least I'm too far up the mountain to worry about casual house breakers.
