Blue Nile is an Ethiopian coffee and it IS good!

My ex-husband is from Ethiopia and that is how I became familiar with it. He drank it all the time! You can still get it and a LOT less expensive than what you were paying!

You can go right to their web site and get 1 pound for $11.00!

Have a cup! c(_) ~~
O JOY O BLISS!  That will be my first stop when my check comes in.  Not only will I have "a" cup, I shall have several!  Thank you so much!  Back when I first started drinking it, it was just starting to be imported as a special order, and wasn't available online.  Good to know that some things actually change for the better!

I remember seeing an interesting coffee in a gourmet shop called Blue Mountain from Jamaica.  I wanted to try it until I saw the price, too expensive for me.  It worked out to $80 a pound.  I looked it up on the internet and it is supposed to be one of the most expensive coffees in the world.  It's grown on one particular mountain in Jamaica, too expensive for me.
The one I know is Mr. Peek's (sp?) Blue Mountain coffee.  It's way expensive, but get a quarter of a pound for a very special occasion.  For me, it is worth the price when I can afford it.

I have to say, it is NOT easy, nor economical, to get items (food or otherwise) shipped from Ethiopia! (but it IS getting a little better). I recently ordered some spice (Berebere) and it was $25.00 a pound! But, Ohhhhh, SO worth it!

Arabica coffee originated in Ethiopia and it is their major export. Around 60% of foreign income comes from coffee. The way of production has not changed much, with nearly all work, cultivating and drying, still done by hand.

Savor the flavor!

I use my own coffee as well rather than the K-cups, much cheaper.  I do still sometimes make a pot, it just depends on rather it is one of those mornings where I know I will need a lot of coffee to get going and keep going.
What do you mean 'you use your own coffee'?

It's a reusable cup adapter that you can get for the one cup machines.  You can fill that reusable adapter cup with ground coffee  rather than using the K-cups.

Don't laugh but I prefer McDonalds coffee to Timmies. So what province is home?
That is so funny, my friend that also lives in Toronto loves McDonald's coffee. I've had it, because that's what she had when I was at her house. It was ok. Definitely don't care for it from the restaurant.

I don't use K-cups, just a regular drip machine. I like Gevalia's Majestic Roast. Love me some BOLD coffee! Not sure if anyone has ever tried Death Wish coffee, but it is fantastic as well (albeit a bit expensive). Dark roast with high caffeine. This is me after having some of that stuff.

Now, that might actually tempt me to get one of the machines.
