she was trying to come in through my bedroom window lol.
@shebaa   I love your photo of cat with mouse at the window.
Mine used to try to sneak their 'mouse gifts' inside, or drop it by any outside door.

Though, the poor rodents would look kind of cute and small, so I felt a bit sorry for them. But then I thought about not wanting them in my house, or eating my electrical wires, etc...and so they didn't seem so cute anymore. The circle of life I guess.
She has the look on her face, like, "If I look at you like this long enough, I'm sure you'll let me in.  No problem".

She is a beautiful girl!
@raysmyheart   I'm dying of laughter from your post. The "I'm sure you'll let me in...no problem" if I look at you like this long enough ... is spot on accurate.

Thanks to you both for the friday laugh.

I've found this guy in the bathroom sink quite a lot lately.

Also, I don't have any pictures of this, but I have a 125 gallon fish tank that is open-top (aka has no lid) and every now and again this guy will break into my room jump up on the corner of the tank, sit on top of the tank lights and just dip his 2 front paws in the water all the way up to his chest, and then he just starts rubbing the water all over himself! He doesn't try to catch the fish though, so that's a plus.

Honeybee on my lap, music playing in background
I have one who is a hunter=she used to let them go in the house until I scolded her one day=I said "Honeybee you are supposed to kill it! Not bring it in and let it make my house germy!!" SHe had a chipmunk in her mouth along with a long stick=she dragged it home from next door=that night I reached down to grab Bee Kitty in one hand and get the little nip in my other hand-that cat WAS MAD! She wanted her critter!! I put her in the house and took a long walk and let it go-it ran off-she had just grabbed it with her mouth without injure...another time my honey was home-she climbs through the window with a bird still alive-good grief...we try to babysit her to keep her critter free-then later on she would bring it into the door and drop its dead body..the boyfriend is squeamish about dead mice-so I had to "dispose" of the thing...ick. These cats crack me up!

@Raina21, you don't really need to use the sink, do you?
Look at the sweet face on this kitty!  It is kind of ironic that he likes to dip his paws all the way into the fish tank but will not even bother the fish.!  Cats are so funny!  I love them all!

@raysmyheart ...you are just totally cracking me up.
  I totally agree with you.

@Raina21 ..LOL...what is up with your sweet cat ?  It sounds and looks like he loves to be "super clean" and I fear that like @raysmyheart mentioned, that you may not have access to your sink at times.

I guess the wanting to rub fish tank water all over himself is just another try at staying cleaner, than clean. Or he is super smart and will mask his smell, and wait until the fish swim close to the top. I guess you always know where he's been, though, by the fish water smell. That is why it's good that he feels comfortable in your sink. easy to clean it off. thanks for posting your story.

After years of no interest, suddenly Lucy has taken to jumping on top of the TV.  Even though there are several cat shelves in the TV room, she now prefers to perch on the speaker.  I can't seem to dissuade her.  Naughty girl.

Yeah, he's a character! He is certainly one of the weirdest cats I've ever met. I always know if he's been up there because I find a puddle of water on my desk (which is clear glass, so it's not wood and doesn't get damaged, also, no computer or anything on that desk, so I usually don't mind, just have to wipe up the water) and another puddle on the floor, and there is usually wet paw prints (I have hardwood floors) leading into the hall. I usually find him sitting somewhere, sopping wet, looking like he's just been given a bath.

At first I thought he had fallen into the fish tank, but it kept happening and I couldn't understand why he hadn't learned his lesson yet. And then I caught him sitting up there just rubbing the water all over him! And I was like what the??? Why does he like rubbing water on himself?

He does tons of other weird stuff too like ride on people's shoulders and play fetch.

@Raina21   Oh my.
That sounds like a lot of mopping up with towels, then.

But on the bright side, you know where he's been. Plus your place gets...erm...wiped up more often to avoid slipping on puddles, and wet paw prints.

"Sopping Wet"?? Oh, gosh. That must be a sight.

I don't mean to laugh, but I can just imagine him being all wet, and not minding it at all.

(He sounds more dog than cat...in the fetching and liking to be wet. Except for the wanting the fish water.)

Quite a character. Sounds like you don't have many dull days.
Just make sure he does not jump on any beds with soaking paws, or you'll have to put on a waterproof, mattress cover.

@RickR ...your photo of Lucy is brilliant.

You should consider sending it in to the 'speaker, tv. or electronics companies'...because it is an Awesome Advertising photo.

I think they would use it for sure.

I also like how your t.v. says ....'Wednesday morning'...umm...that is usually the day of the week that is hardest to get through, so having to look at this photo, on your wall, or elsewhere, would make it a little easier.

Just a fantastic photo.

How regal and elegant Lucy looks sitting atop the tv!  A perfect pose!  How long does she sit there if a show is on?

Thank you for the kind words.  The Wednesday Morning thing is from M. Night Shyamalan's dreadful movie, The Visit which we regretfully were watching at the time.

Well....I think she would sit up there quite awhile if I let her.  I usually ask her to jump down immediately.  This was the first time I let her perch for a bit so I could take pictures.  What is especially funny (and odd) is that if she jumps to the speaker shelf when no one is in the room, she will call out until I come into the room and see her.  She knows she isn't allowed on that shelf and yet she wants to make sure that I see her on on the speaker.

@RickR....I have not seen that movie, so thanks for the warning.

But now that photo of your black cat Lucy should be sent to M. Night Shyamalan. He would probably like it, too.

Interesting...I thought that Lucy might have liked the vibrations from the speakers, and so sat on them.

But it is funny that she knows, she is not allowed, but still does it anyway, and makes sure you know it.

Well, she is a cat after all, so it goes with the territory. Sweet, smart, and a little naughty.

Oh God, I just read this phrase," Sweet, smart and a little naughty
"  and I have been saying all morning to Speedy!  I love it!  Today, however, I am also saying, "Sweet, smart and a wee bit naughty"!

I do not have a camera, and can't wait until I get one to post pictures of my sweet Speedy, but her wee bit naughty is putting her claws into a package of eight hot dog rolls on the counter and approximately three of them have her mark on them.
Does not rip the package open, just can see where the claws went in!
  No problem.

Maybe Speedy wants to 'mark' the 3 hot dog buns that she prefers.
I'm thinking that she is hoping that there will be "hot dog meat" inside of them, eventually.

I prefer your new phrase now...."Sweet, smart and a wee bit naughty.".
...because the wee bit naughty..leads to  'adventurous, entertaining, and a whole lot of fun'.

Except for if they attempt to steal/shred your hot dog rolls.

(@raysmyheart ...I am rubbish at taking photos. Some of mine are too dark, non-centred, or the background is awful..for online posting. I've dropped my old camera a number of times, and found that you can find sales at various stores like walmart...when they are on clearance. I also use my cell phone, but am too lazy to transfer them onto computer. When I have another full day off, I should schedule doing this. Not sure if I captured any 'wee bit of naughty' cat pics...because when things like this happen...I don't automatically think of grabbing my camera.

I am more in shock, surprise, and then just have to laugh...and clean up whatever the cats did.)
