Hey,
So, my cat passed away back in June this year. The whole story was tragic... My neighbor decided to be a jealous prick and poisoned my cat. He set it all up, too. He made sure to get a cat that looked like mine just in case we accused him. Smart evil man... Anyways, that same cat he used was never seen again. He probably gave it away soon after. Sad how jealousy can lead to cruel events... Especially since we have done nothing to them, ever.
He was a very healthy and super intelligent 8 year old cat. (We've had him since he was 2 months old) April 15, 2007 - June 24, 2015
I noticed that a stray cat, who used to be around my cat a lot when he was alive, seemingly his best friend, was actually paying visits to my cats grave site. He would come to eat and after eating, before leaving my property, he would walk to where my cat is buried and stand there with his head slightly down for about 15-30 seconds.
Is this some type of grievance from this stray cat? Can he smell my cat, even though my cat is 4 ft under? How can I help him overcome this?
In the photo provided, my cat is the black and white one sitting on the railing while the other cat, who I believe is a Snowshoe Cat of about 1.5 years, is on the grass. This is the only cat that my cat would ever sit that close to.
