Hello everyone,
This may end up being long so please bear with me. This morning I went out to feed Butterscotch and I was doing something out there when she started staring at her cat house. I got down to take a peek and saw a big black blob with its back to me. It took over five minutes for me to coax Midnight out (which was odd as he usually comes running). Once he was out he stood in a weird way and walked a few feet to the grass and laid down, making some crying sounds. I ran and grabbed him some food, and he got up and started crying as he moved his back legs. Once he finished eating a little he lay back down and did another crying meow. He's still hanging around the backyard. I tried to get some pictures of how he was standing.
He was standing rather than sitting comfortably and had his tail tucked under him but let me pet him and sit right next to him.
Here is the distance he walked from the cat house (under the grill tray). He has walked a little farther since then. I'm guessing he got into a fight with someone and it's sore or something cause I didn't see any blood or such. Just wanted to let you know, and ask if there might be anything I could do to help him. Can't bring him inside because we have allergies. Thanks guys!

If there is a way to get him to the vet, please do so. If he was in a fight, he could really be hurt and in pain. If he's not fixed, it is going to mean he'll keep getting into fights, so please have that done if it isn't done yet.

Thank you for helping him!

I agree with Ondine, a vet is really best.

The majority of the time a cat will heal on it's own from a fight, but of course not always if there is something wrong that you are unable to see.

The other thing I'd be very concerned about is if this might be a urinary tract infection or blockage.

He needs to be neutered badly. It will dramatically change his life for the better.

Very much agree with Ondine & Catwoman707---if you can at all, please try to get him into a vet. Cats instinctually don't show pain unless it's bad - and if Midnight is acting this vulnerable, he's really, really hurting.

And if he isn't neutered - that's something you could schedule to be done in conjunction with this vet visit, which would cut down on number of times you've got to put him (& yourself!) through the stress of a vet visit. Neutering should change his life for the much, much better. It should drastically cut down his fighting - which will make his life a million times safer & happier!

Keep us posted - and if you need help on how to catch/trap (if necessary)/transport Midnight - just ask--this group is very helpful.

Alright thank you all so much for getting back to me. I haven't seen Midnight since then, so he managed to walk away. I am going to try contacting my humane society Friday, they have a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) program and so hopefully they will be able to help. I'm keeping an eye out for him coming back around. I'll keep you updated on what happens, thanks guys.
