Where could he be? How long has he been gone??
He was gone for bout a week but he's back now!!Where could he be? How long has he been gone??
Ok, I don't let Symba out unless I take him with me, holding him(4 month old)and i didn't know that's what cats do when you hit them I won't do that any more and thanks for the adviceAgreed. They all need to be spayed and neutered as soon as possible, or you're going to have kittens from mom and son too. It's also very soon for mom to have kittens again - it takes a real toll on her body. Are you letting the four month old outside? That's not safe either.
Hitting your cats to get them to get along is going to backfire because they are going to associate each other with bad things, like being hit by their owner. They will never associate it with whatever they were doing when you hit them. You can remove the cats from each other and do gradual reintroductions in order to be productive.
Unfixed cats will also wander further and more often, looking for a mate. They are at risk for sexually transmitted diseases and dangerous fighting as they defend their territory.
It's not the cost, my mom won't take her...she even says that's we need to get her fixed but she doesn't ever do it and I can't drive yet, and how do I "reintroduce" them?Is there a reason you don't want to spay and neuter? If it's cost, we would be more than happy to help you find low-cost clinics near you.
How do I reintroduce them? Like I mean I tried to go up to Cece and I rubbed her for a minute or two, then I got Symba showed him to her, then rubbed her once and put Symba on the ground-not to close but not to far- but she still hissed so I guess that's not how you do it? And thanks for such a quick response$20 is a great cost. Would it be possible to make an appointment at a time that works for your mom to drive? Symba should go at the same time. Maybe if you take initiative and it's at a concrete time it will be more likely to happen.
Otherwise, you are about to get mother-son babies, and that's not a healthy choice.
Ok, I can ask my mom if she can take Cece when she gets off work because I have cheer tonight but my dads taking me so my mom might be able to. What age can kittens(Symba) get neutered? And how old are cats when they are able to reproduce? So, I don't know that reintroducing will help. I think there are hormonal problems going on. Mom needs to be spayed asap. Until she is spayed, she needs to be 100% kept inside. Symba also needs to be 100% inside until he is neutered. Can they be kept in separate areas of the house? They are just not going to get along until that is resolved.
