Vomited undigested raw food - should I be worried about batch?

My cats have been eating raw on and off for almost a year but we've gone through a few changes. A few weeks ago I started feeding TCPremix with raw chicken, which they've been fine with up until now.

My cat (1 year old) vomited a bit of undigested or partially digested (it was really dark but looked like whole chunks to me) raw food for the first time and now I'm not sure if I should just throw out the whole batch to be safe or not. What are some symptoms of off meat or bacteria? Both cats get raw chicken with TCPremix Plus (which includes powdered beef liver) and in last night's batch I added 2 teaspoons of salmon oil for the first time as recommended by the manufacturer (they could not find fresh krill to source and include in the premix at this time and recommended adding salmon oil instead).

Both of our cats actually vomited yesterday but one was a hairball, before they ate any of the new batch. Then a few hours after their 3am snack (first bit of new batch) the other cat threw up bits. Vomiting is not normal for her - I've seen her regurgitate food right after eating too fast, but I have never seen her vomit food out hours later. It seems like she didn't throw up all of it, but quite a few pieces.

A week ago she had a couple of days of diarrhea and we were ready to take her to the vet if it didn't clear up but by Monday she was pooping normally again. She just pooped half an hour ago (maybe an hour after the vomiting) and the stool seemed normal, definitely no diarrhea.

So - should I just throw away the batch to be safe and give both cats some normal wet food packets? Are there other signs I should look out for before deciding if the batch is safe or not? Their breakfast is coming up and I'm trying to decide what to feed them!

Thank you.

I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. Bumping this in the hopes that some other members jump in.
Thank you! As an update I decided to feed them a little of the same batch (not too much) that morning and all seems to be ok. No more throwing up.

I am however still really interested in hearing about other people's response in these sorts of situations - would you have thrown out the batch just in case? Are there other signs you look for of the food being off?

Any time I feel worried about a batch i toss it out. I make small batches of 1lbs at a time so it's not a big loss for me.

That's good to know. What would normally be cause for you to worry? Is one case of a cat throwing up enough for you to worry or would you normally look for other signs as well?
