This is a video of some serious cat fighting!

What would you do if you saw this happen?

That looks like normal kitten play to me. Sometimes they can take it too far, often Mama cat will step in at that point or if you have a kitten and an older cat at home a quick swipe, growl or hiss will tell them they're getting too rough. None of that looks particularly bad though. Cats will also flatten their ears and fur will fly if things aren't going well as opposed to it being play.

I guess I was being a bit facetious when I said this was 'some serious cat fighting'I couldn't help posting the video when I saw it last night!

I watched it twice... the second time, Kricket jumped on my desk and watched part of it with me. He was so sweet, he was tapping the screen with his paw and chirping. I don't know which was funnier, or more cute...the kittens or his reaction to them!

It was fun (and even a little educational) to see how they hone their hunting and fighting skills. As tiny as they are, they were as proud and fierce and as any huge lion! Their posture and body language was spot on! I remember when Kricket and Keeker were little kittens and chased and hunted each other and knocked each other around like that. They still do it today, but they were cuter when they were babies.

And it has to be an inbred instinct because both of my boys were taken from their mother's at a mere 6 weeks. Their Mom's didn't have adequate time to teach these skills. But, by the time they were three months old, Keeker had brought me two mice!  They are still both aggressive hunters --even if the last mouse they brought me was the one off my laptop! LOL

Oh lol sorry! It got lost in written translation.

Glad your baby enjoyed it as much as you did. Funny little things they are!

Sorry, your babies don't get along *sigh* I understand now.

We always wanted for them to get along and not fighting, hope one day they would love each other and will cuddle

Yeah, they've been like this since they met back in 2009. I've done everything I can possibly do to get them to co-exist but Toby (my Tabby) is the Alpha cat who doesn't want to share anything. They don't fight like that all the time thankfully but when they do, they want to kill each other. Once in a blue moon they'll forget they're enemies and kind of play but it always escalates into a full blown fight. I'm hoping that when they eventually get older, they'll give up their silly squabbles, lol.

Fingers crossed here too for your babies.

Did you try caressing them both then rub it on the face of the other and vice versa? Do that as many time as you can, then try to talk to them it works here with Macha and Mia.

LOL I know it's kind of crazy for some people mostly who don't understand cats but I talk to my cats all the time lol

I've done and currently do the swapping of scents with them and it hasn't done much to make them less tolerable of each other. I carry both their scents constantly on me because they both rub up on me when I'm laying down on the couch. Perhaps one day they'll come around.

lol I understand you and yes, I talk to them constantly.

My 2 are brother and sister and they still have little tiffs that we have to break apart. Usually we just yell and they break apart. Prince is usually the one that starts it. He is rather dominant and 3 lbs bigger. He likes to pin Princess down and bites her neck. There is never any blood or anything. Tammie never gets into it. She is an 18+ lb Mainecoon mix. So he does not bother her to much. But poor Princess gets picked on.

Hahaha, thanks you understand me others would be saying I am crazy cat lady lol

It's very good that you talk to your cats constantly, keep talking to them, it's very positive and they would understand you as well.

I am pretty sure that one day they will be best buddies :-)
