So here's some photos of meeko and all his glory- I tried to get a good pic showing his unique hair color that's not white or black but like a cream- I don't know how well you can see it. He has already thickened out so much compared to how her was. He was trying to get to my bath water to drink lol even though he has a full water bowl. He is looking so much better !! I love this big kitty ! It's funny because my husband didn't want even one cat and not we have two [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]....

Hey neibor !!!:wavey:

Well, he's black, and white, and a dilute orange.  Yep, you have a male tri-color, yet again.  Although I'm not sure what to call the pattern, it has some calico properties, and some tortie properties...when there's a genetic mutation to begin with, I guess all bets are off.  Maybe we can call him a tortico.  Or a calicie.  Or just beautiful boy.

(I'm kinda fond of tortico, myself.  The orange and black are mostly distinct, as a calico, but there is some mottlling and blending, as a tortie.  How unusual.  I think I'm smitten with your kitten.)

Wow, he's a special boy. He's going to look amazing when he gets back to full fluffiness.

I have no idea what to call the pattern either, it seems kind of splotchy like the tortie, but not fully. He is a big baby !! I will definetly be posting regular pictures of this big boy!

Every night I go to bed surrounded by kitties lol meeko and my bobcat mix, kit. They are finally getting along ( kit is mean lol she's a kitten)

The bottom photo of kit is terrific. It would make a great subject for "Caption this photo!"

She is always sitting like that, sitting pretty With her paws up like a ferret lol... Tons of personality in her, every time my husband comes home she goes after his legs first thing. Usually without claws , like a kitty hug lol

I know someone who had a cat they thought, for many years, was a neutered male. . .and she wasn't :tongue2:. It's especially hard to tell with longhairs. So take a second look and make sure he's a he. It's not easy to see a cat's penis! I've been fooled myself :D.

But if he really is a he, his coloring is very interesting. Most torties/calicos have at least some red on their faces, so that's unusual. I wonder if it's some kind of mosaicism. Plus, you can't have dilute red but non-dilute black, so it must be non-dilute red, maybe just looks kind of dilute because of his fuzziness?

~BLINK~  I hadn't thought of that.  And whatever pattern he is, he's quite interesting.  I'm going to say "tortico," just because I like the word, and he's a one of a kind sorta kitteh.

Lol had to be sure lol poor meeko was so violated lol it does not have barbs on it either lol tried to get a better pic of the actual hairs that seem cream/ dilute orange. He is demanding tummy rubs... That's why it's so easy to check him. But he has a sack just no nads lol poor dude

Well, that would be consistent with the fact that only 1/10,000 tri-colored males are infertile.  I wonder if they all lack widdle ballsies and barbs?  Poor violated Meeko.  You'll have to call Jackson Galaxy for Kitteh Therapy...and I'd pay to see you explain why he needs it!

I doubt he doesn't have balls because of color-linked infertility. I'm sure he was neutered if he was owned before. Very few people are willing to live with a tomcat. As I understand it, infertile male torties are full toms in every other sense, they just "shoot blanks".

I know some are born without them and many never drop. But idk I don't see any scares. But could have maybe not scared. I just know there are no testicals in the sack lol

I've never seen any scars on a neutered male. They're so fuzzy back there I don't think it's possible :lol3:.
