So I've been looking into this brand, and from what I can see, it looks good. However, I'd like some other opinions from people who may have used it. I saw a few threads about the canned and dry varieties, and the reviews were generally positive, but I couldn't find anything about the frozen. It's marketed toward both cats and dogs, so it does have more ingredients than I would prefer, but for the price, I can look past that as long as it's otherwise okay.
From their feeding calculator, I estimate I would use one 8oz patty per day for two cats. If I order from PetFoodDirect, I should be able to feed them for roughly $75 a month, which is actually less than I'm spending now. I would be using only the chicken and rabbit varieties, since one of mine can't tolerate red meat.
Here are the ingredients:
Chicken--Chicken, Chicken Liver, Chicken Heart, Montmorillonite Clay, Herring Oil, Dried Apple, Dried Apricot, Alfalfa Nutrient Concentrate, Dried Artichoke, Dried Blueberry, Dried Broccoli, Dried Carrot, Dried Chicory Root, Dried Cranberry, Dried Kelp, Dried Parsley, Dried Pumpkin, Dried Rosemary, Dried Spinach, Dried Tomato
Rabbit--Rabbit, Pork Heart, Pork Liver, Montmorillonite Clay, Herring Oil, Dried Apple, Dried Apricot, Alfalfa Nutrient Concentrate, Dried Artichoke, Dried Blueberry, Dried Broccoli, Dried Carrot, Dried Chicory Root, Dried Cranberry, Dried Kelp, Dried Parsley, Dried Pumpkin, Dried Rosemary, Dried Spinach, Dried Tomato
So what do you think? Has anyone out there actually tried the frozen variety?
