What's The Average Life Span Of A Cat?

My Cat "Cindy" Is coming up to 14 human years of age, and im just wondering what would be the average life span in himan years a cat would be.

i have definitely noticed that my cindy is started tio slow down alot, and sleeps more and more...

Average life span of a kitty really does vary a lot.  I think genetics plays a big part just as it does for people.  Some kitties pass at 10 or 12 from age related illnesses, some kitties live to be 20 and are still in relatively good health.  Even though your kitty is slowing down a bit that doesn't mean that the end is near.  As kitties get older regular vet checkups and blood work becomes more important just as it does for people.  Many of the things that become more common as kitties age can be better controlled the earlier they are caught.  Early detection not only adds to lifespan but improves quality of life.

Another good thing to know- Indoor cats usually live longer than a outdoor cat.
