I use a lot of pillows.
My excuse is I have to elevate my head because asthma. I use a bolster, a latex pillow, and two wool ones. Also a little wool pillow for reading or playing the DS in bed, truthfully it's going to be the DS.

Two here also.  One is an old Tempurpedic - a model not made anymore.  I can't bear to give it up in spite of it's age and condition.  It's perfect.

The other one is just to prop up the older one at this point lol.

I have 5 on the bed. 2 that I actually use and the others are there for Lilith and Sophie to use when they sleep on the bed. It's a king size bed with just me (and them sometimes) so I think it would look weird with just 2 pillows on it on one side and nothing on the other. they don't complain. They like having them to lay on. When Henry does join us, he usually just stretches out at the foot of the bed on the other side. He's bigger than the girls so he needs more stretching out space.

Two, one really large long pillow and one normal sized people.

Granted, when a certain someone is in the mood for it (And is taking a break from sleeping on my head, back or chest) one of them becomes annexed lol and there goes my head either on the remaining pillow or just laying on the bed without anything.

DH and I used to get in tug of wars over my pillow. We'd both be sleeping and all of a sudden, a pillow would get yanked out from my under my head and my head would land on the mattress. I'd wake up (annoyed) and grab it back. We'd both tug on it until I said "LET GO". He'd wake up, see my pillow in both of our hands, say sorry and we'd both go back to sleep. It used to happen all the time.

We have a queen bed. We each have two pillows, used primarily for watching tv and for me to read. My bottom pillow is a king-size and that's the one that Mollipop usually sleeps on during the night. The top pillow is a queen-size and that's the one I use for sleeping. I bring the queen down a bit, so there's plenty of room at my head for Molli to stretch out on the king. It works.

Although lately, Molli has been snuggling up between Rick and me, under the covers. She must be feeling chilly....she usually doesn't like being under the blankets.

Gee Willkers!

I have two 'regular' pillows that I use to elevate my feet, and two 'regular pillows, that I put under my knees. I have a spinal cord injury and this alleviates the pressure on my lumbar and helps with lower extremity circulation. Then, I have two down pillows for my head.

Of course, I also have a wedge pillow that I use when reading, but it gets tossed aside once I decide to settle down and sleep.

In addition to those, I have two pillows in shams and 5 small decorative pillows, all of which get get stacked on the recliner along with my comforter when I turn my bed down.

Kricket always seems to manage working one of the down pillows over to 'his' side of the bed, though! LOL  And Keeker prefers to lay on the comforter in the recliner.
