That this to shall pass. Good or bad situations change.

If you are doing good help others and put some up for the rainy days because they will come to.

My Dad always said, "Once you hit bottom, you can only go back up!".

It's up to you when you decide to make that climb, though. And it's not always easy!

for most things, there's always a way to achieve our goals. sometimes it just takes 'thinking outside the box', or takes longer than we might prefer, or requires hard work -- but i firmly believe and it's been my experience that pretty much any goal can be achieved.

There's a quotation by Thich Nhat Hanh from The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching, that feels very right to me.  It goes something like:

Do not worry about the past; do not worry about the future.

Come back to the present moment and touch life deeply.

"It is what it is".. is what I often say. Pretty much means take life in strides and don't let things get to you.

1) It's impossible to earn someone's love.

2) If I have to buy it on credit, I can't afford it.

3) Some people don't like me and never will (and that's ok).

4) Thinking negative thoughts creates a negative reality.

5) Plan for tomorrow but live in the present.

6) Advantages in life always have down sides, while opposition or bad fortunes have silver linings.

7) Having a lot of stuff is a burden.

8) I need good fuel for my body to work well.

9) What doesn't kill me can still break me.

10) Nobody else can make me whole, complete, or happy...

11) ...but surrounding myself with positive and caring people helps a lot!

It took me years to learn this and I always tell my daughters this when they are having a bad day.....

So many.  Let me pare them down to..oh, say, five.

1.  Be kind.  It costs nothing and returns much.  A single smile at a stranger can change the world.

2.  He who dies with the most toys wins is not true.  He who most loves the toys he has is true.

3.  Slow down.  Life is not a race, and  you are not a rat.

4.  You cannot "be happy."  Happiness is ephemeral, connected to a moment.  You can have joy, which

is a deep contentedness that comes of being and doing what you are meant to be and do.

5.   When you stand in the dark, at the precipice, take a deep breath and step off.  Either you will fly, or a

      hand will uphold you.

Sorry, no jokes or funny stories with this one.
