Introducing Macha and Mia

The first day Mia arrived, Macha was wondering what this little thing lol her eyes so huge than ever lol she sniffed her then hissed. I put Mia in the room with water, foods, toys littering and her blanket. She slept all night long at around 6: 00am she woke up and ate her foods, drank her water and used her littering box . Macha still looking at her intensely and sniffed her then hissed again. I put her in the room again so she can rest while Macha near the door and crying, she want her out lol

The second day, Macha woke up crying and scratching the door and so I woke up and let Mia out of the room. They kissed each other and Macha started washing her, WOW I was surprised that she's washing her and it's only second day!? So I let them together a little bit and watching them closely. Macha hold Mia down then washing her like saying "don't move I need to clean you" lol I was so happy seing them like this, it's was so great feelings.

Third day, they are now playing "catch me if you can" LOL Mia ran like crazy and Macha can't even catch her lol it was funny that Mia put a brake while running that Macha slides and smacks her body on the wall lol then she got up and running and catching Mia again. It's very funny, so far so great and it's all positive outcome and I am so happy. Fingers crossed that they will continue this happy introduction and hoping that soon they will cuddle which I am waiting. :-)

I wonder if Macha is trying to replace Mia's smell - the one Macha hissed at - with a more acceptable scent like her own! Maybe that's why she groomed Mia. It's cute that they are getting along already and hope it continues!

Days 4 it was pretty good,I still can't believe they are loving each other already!?! Washing each other, yes Mia washing Macha too lol amazing. My girls who passed away they took more than a month to get along and it was very difficult introduction. I was a bit worried that it will happen again but to my surprised it went pretty good (fingers crossed)

Last night the first night they slept together in the living room and they were cuddling each other. I watched them till late night and making sure everything is alright. They woke up early 6:00am (like they got timer o something lol) and they're playing again. All toys of Macha she shared with Mia. They're awesome it's like they know each other for so long...WOW!

Mia inspecting the whole place and rubbing everywhere and Macha following her and rubbing herself everywhere too lol too funny but I love it. They ate their breakfast and used their littering box (now they are sharing one littering box) Macha watching her closely and when Mia finish she will inspect if Mia covers properly lol Mia is such a good girl too she knows pretty well. Right now this very moment, they are taking a nap :-)

PS, It's always wonderful to share with fellow cat lovers who understand each other.

Everything was great (fifth day) really getting along fine.

Today the 6th day, I am going out for few hours.

I hope when I get back they are still best friends crossing fingers. :-)

Oh, what a touching story

I just love the photo of your two kitties cuddling.
I was nervous when I adopted my Mittens. I thought that maybe he and my Shadow would not get along. It did take about a month, but I am happy to say that they are now best friends. Shadow welcomed Mittens immediately, but it took Mittens a little longer to warm up to him. They don't really cuddle yet. They will nap next to each other though. They are just so cute together.
I so want them see them cuddle though just like your two kitties.
Maybe one day??

Usually it will take sometime ( I read a lot of stories about this and from my own experience as well) and I am lucky and fortunate at the same time it's like a dream and if this is a dream I really don't want to wake up lol Macha is very happy and loving cat and Mia is a tiny kitten with a bit of character and she still think that Macha is her mother lol so cute and funny together, amazingly wonderful.

Yesterday, it's their 6th day together, I left them alone for an hour or so, to buy their foods. I was so nervous that maybe something bad gonna happen but when I get back they were both cuddling. They occupied my bed, cuddling there and washing each other. Then they woke up and used their littering box together, then start running again, this time it's Mia who is running and catching Macha lol I never laugh like this before for a very long time and now here I am smiling and laughing again. They are sweet and funny cats and hoping and crossing fingers that this will continue this awesome introduction :-)

Thank you Mamanyt! Yesterday was their 7th day together and both really enjoying each other. They are all the time together and they accepted each other with out a doubt in my heart and in my mind. I can leave them by themselves soon for few hours with out worrying. Here's a pic of my girls yesterday, it was a beautiful day and they're sunning.

Yup, I changed it. I like his face in it because he is staring directly at the camera. I don't get them to do that all too often, lol.

My cat bella looks just like your older cat in the picture i would love to know what kind she is she had 5 kittens i recused her about 6 mths ago and i have no idea what breed she is and would love to know

Hi Bradford, Macha is domestic white and black cat, that's all I know, I should ask StefanZ, he is pretty good about breed.

Thanks! Both of your cats are adorable but Mia has those pointed features that she shares with my Bugsy that I like!

Just make sure you have your camera on you at all times so you can get the shot you're looking for and show it to us as well, lol!

What is Bugsy point? I can see blue eyes but not sure ...

Mia is Siamese seal point and I took pic and asked her to give me "cheers" look what I get lol
