Hello from Sassy the siamese!

This is Sassy and she says hi.    She's a 12 year old chocolate point and is *all* siamese... meow, attitude, affection - you name it!


I've found this site while researching feline arthritis.  She's had it for a couple of years, and it's recently gotten noticeably worse.  I'm about to head over to the appropriate forum to post a question or two, but wanted to say hi here first.  I'm in stressed out mom mode, and I can already tell there is a lot of helpful 'real time' information here to supplement what our two vets have to say.

What a beautiful lady!

You might look into holistics as an adjunct to traditional remedies.  My Crazy Cat Lady friend (she has nine, all well-socialized, all seen by a vet once a year at minimum, all flea-free, and never can smell cat box in her house...she's either a cat angel in disguise, or an alien with super powers, don't know which) has had very good luck with some of them.  I do know that acupuncture did wonders for her senior male who had arthritis.  He's playing almost like a kitten again.
